BEGINNER GUIDE

A home that works
when needed.

You should not need to understand every piece of equipment to enjoy a more comfortable, considered home.

One household. Connected decisions.

Heating, hot water, charging and other home systems often make decisions separately. Endurous is being designed to consider your priorities and the available resources together.

It can help to think of three layers:

  1. Your priorities

What should be comfortable, what needs to be ready and what should keep working during an interruption?

  2. A plan that looks ahead

Use available forecasts, utility rates and household routines to consider useful times for flexible tasks.

  3. Compatible equipment and feedback

Make supported adjustments, see how the home responds and update the plan.

Consider the evening routine.

Dinner needs power now. The car may only need to be ready in the morning. A warm room matters now, while some hot-water heating might be able to wait.

The opportunity is in the timing.

Endurous aims to recognize which tasks can move, which should not and how much energy should remain in reserve.

Some choices need only supported controls. Others depend on physical capacity, such as a battery or suitable thermal storage. The right combination depends on the home.

You do not need everything.

Start with your existing equipment and one clear goal. A first phase might focus on charging, comfort or essential backup loads. Other possibilities can remain part of a later plan.

A useful review asks what can be kept, what can be connected and what would need to change. It should include installation, maintenance and ongoing costs as well as equipment prices.

Your priorities stay in the plan.

Automatic does not mean out of your control. The intended experience lets you choose comfort limits, readiness goals and useful notifications, then change those preferences when needed.

Equipment monitoring has a different job from scheduling: it looks for meaningful changes in performance and helps explain when maintenance or service may be worth reviewing.

From a possibility to a property plan.

The website currently offers a Home Planner and an illustrative energy scenario. Connected controls, property modeling and service coordination are being developed.

A property-specific plan would consider your utility rates, climate, equipment, space and daily needs before recommending a configuration.
